Arctic Methane is being released

The good news, we are finally paying attention to this situation.

The bad news, it's not stopping, and it's getting worse the warmer things get.

So even if we do stop all emissions growth right now, we are probably in a spiral.

Small changes are not enough.

Small movements are distracting and the mentality of "every little bit helps" is wrong.  Any effort that's being spent on small changes, that could be used for a greater change is wasted effort.  The opportunity cost is too high.

But we're not willing to make the large moves, the big changes.  The problem of large scale, slow moving paths is that we might be too late already.  Waiting until after 2012 to change will guarantee more time lost.
