The day started at 11 am with a panel of LPs talking about what the market is like from their perspective. The bad news for VCs is that LPs can and will wait.
Also some LPs just don't have the cash today that they used to have last year. So for general partners going for money this emvironment is bad.
This means for entrepreneurs, things will be challenging. Getting a VC's attention will be harder. And many partners are going to spend time and money on the existing portfolio companies.
The lunch speakers were the Fed's CIO and the panel on how govenment is going to spend a huge amount of money into the marketplace and what attitudes and approaches can be expected going forwards.
