Open Apology to Entrepreneurs

I'm sorry.

I should not have been late.  We arranged a time, and I missed the appointment.

I apologize.

During a conversation with an old friend in Pittsburgh on Saturday, I realized I went from being a punctual person several years ago, to someone who had a more flexible and chaotic schedule.  Right now, I'm not sure if it's because my ego's gotten too large, and I end up believing that the entrepreneur can wait for me.  Or if real emergencies that need my attention are grabbing me in different directions.  Or if I've become so used to setting the schedule, that I end up forcing others to accommodate my needs.

Or maybe it's that I'm getting old, and becoming more forgetful.

I don't know what it is.  But being late, missing calls, is bad behavior.  An investor, if he/she is going to bother making an appointment, should at the least, call or inform you, if the person will be more than 5 minutes late.

For the entrepreneur, the stakes are as high.  Same rules of decency apply.
