Life is worth less (900k less)

EPA numbers are now saying that a life is worth less than it was 5 years ago.

It's number crunching, but one thing to consider with all these tables is, they affect calculations further down.

Right now, the cheapest thing to do, to solve health care problems, is let people die.

In the short run/long run, doing nothing and letting people die earlier is the fastest/cheapest solution.  We do this, and all the medicare/medicaid problems are done.

That's not an acceptable solution, but you need to recognize that the numbers can and will probably end up being used in this manner.  Used to justify one course of action or another.
