Bubbles

I had the opportunity to hear Paul Haacke talk. He was promoting his book Frenzy, and focused on Bubbles. His core question was how to tell the difference between a Bubble and a Boom. Bubbles have no underlying business, while Booms are sustainable.
He also mentioned we're seeing Bubbles faster and more frequent. Internet was one, but we also had one in the financial area (Asian flu), and recurring bubbles in financnce.
